EVE Mentat 1.1.8 Release
EVE Mentat 1.1.8 (alpha) released!
This release solves few stability issues.
Database is compatible with previous release (1.1.7), so it can be transferred to this version. Just overwrite Storage subfolder from EVE Mentat 1.1.7 into the same location for version 1.1.8.

This release is unstable and it is not recommended for everyday usage, just for testing.

After last eve patch(5 or 6 dec I think) this error appeared whenever I try to import cache in Market Browser

As for request -> if it is possible please insert somewhere in Market browser the Self cost of product if there is something entered for that product by user. At the bottom or at the top – it does not matter but it would really help because then you can immediately see if its better to sell the item or reprocess

Try to clear cache in game.
Also delete “EVE Mentat\Storage\Market Cache” folder.
I’ve added your request into database.
Cash cleaning didn’t help.
So I downloaded latest version.
At first I copied my database and character there and the problem was still there.
But after I re-downloaded new version, then imported market cash and only after that copied old database things seemed to be working fine.
So I guess the problem Is solved
When will come a new Alpha Version?
I love you tool and when i can see the Region in the Market.
Now I need 4 tool for the same … so please update soon …

First thing great program. I have not seen any bad bugs in the 30 days I have been using it :0)
but there is one thing I find a bit strange. When I use the Cache import to import market info. then under Character orders some of the thing I have imported is still showing as “old” data. but all the cases i’m still the one with the best price (just ask if it dont make sense to you)
a small request:
could it be possible to make the sorting of items in the Character orders tap follow the way EVE does is ex.

Yes, there is such issue. The problem in the internal cache implementation. EVE Online client doesns’t update cache item creation time if there were no changes since last market viewing of item.
So, in this case “old” data means “there were no changes on this position”.
Sorry, cache import tool developer hasn’t found way to fix it.
Fix is ready. Will be available in 1.1.9.
Hi, I love the stable version of Mentat, so I decided to download the latest alpha release. Can you tell me if there an installation procedure required? The main tool works OK, although there might be some PAI issues with latest version of EVE 1.1.1. Can you explain how to use the market cache importer. I’m getting an error that the confiog file is missing.

There is no installation procedure. EVE Mentat is portable since version 1.1.1. Just extract it from archive.
I recomend you to download more recent version than 1.1.1.
Yes, there is API issue with journal and will be fixed soon.
Read this article, it may help you with cache import. Don’t forget to specify correct path to EVE Online client before using cache import. Path seetting can be found in preferences.
