    @Ada
    You didn’t update EVE Mentat in a right way. Don’t copy new version over old one.
    Launch clean copy, select import database and follow instructions.

    Please add average cost label, which is (total income – total outgo)/total qty in transaction tab. This would prove to be very helpful.

    @Ion Tyche
    Do you mean something like average profit?

    Something like this. If average profit is (income – outgo)/QTY, then Yes.

    You were buying “A” for several months in many different stations. Then you go to transactions tab and filter transactions to “buying” and “item A”. At bottom you see Qty bought and total outgo. Total income is 0 as filter is set to “buiyng”. Then you want to know average cost. That is “total outgo”/Qty.
    Knowing average cost you may decide to sell “item A” at a slightly higher price.

  1. No trackbacks yet.
