Market cache import
Abstract
EVE Mentat can load market information directly from EVE Online client’s cache. In combination with IGB market scanner it is the fastest way to import market data on your orders to EVE Mentat.
Feature is based on EVEMarketOrdersFromCache tool developed by AVE and bundled with EVE Mentat.
There is no EVE Online EULA violation because this tool doesn’t modify the cache, just reads.
Configuration
Select Market browser tab, right mouse click on Cache import toolbar button then select Cache import settings… (Or via File -> Preferences menu command)

In the settings dialog you can specify up to 5 different EVE Online clients or cache folders. Mixing is not allowed. Market data will be retrieved from all specified locations sequentially:
When
Use client locations option is on you have to specify path to your game clients.
When Use direct path to cache folders option is on you have to specify only direct path to cache folders.
sign indicates correct path to EVE Online client or cache folder.
sign indicates incorrect path.
sign indicates empty path (will be skipped during import)
Note: usually path to cache folder looks like C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\f_play_eve_tranquility\cache (according to client located at f:\Play\EVE).
It is recommended to turn on Import only new market data check box. This significantly increases performance of market import.
Reset button can be used to suppress previous option once.
You can select cache import as default market data source. Right click on Cache import tool button and select Use cache import by default as shown on picture:

Usage
First of all you should browse market for some items in the game. There are two basic approaches:
- Manual: open market window, search for needed items and view market order for them.
- Automatic: import your character or corporate orders, activate IGB feature, open proposed link in the game browser, select character or corporate Market scanner, activate it, wait till the end of scan.

Note: In order to work correctly, market window in game should display orders, not history.
Switch to EVE Mentat, activate Market browser tab, press Cache import tool button or use Ctrl+I keyboard shortcut anywhere on main window.
During import you will see the next picture:
Now EVE Mentat is ready to work with fresh market data.

Hello,
i wonder if it would be possible to use the browser to check a selfmade list of items like the Favorit list of EvE Mentat.
A other nice feature would be, thats possible to read aut the collected data as xml or similar like you get them from evecentral so itwould be possible to use the data at any other programm as well.
@Mika
Both features already have planned.
